TEA
TEA (Tascabili degli Editori Associati) was established in Milan and its production is devoted to widening the popularity and market penetration of the best writers and titles. TEA’s production has shifted from publishing a list of classics, religious books, and reference works, to a gradually expanding second phase, oriented towards the production of more popular fiction, general nonfiction, self-help and how-to titles, memoirs, and illustrated books. In 1999 Longanesi acquired 100% of TEA and in 2005 TEA became part of GeMS. With more than 2,000 titles in print, there are about 250 new releases per year, along with 350 reprints, with more than 60,000,000 copies sold since its establishment.
